Get Plugged in to the Twin Cities

Some links to sign up for in our great city see all that it has to offer and save a little cash

The Onion Do the events update they have lots of free contests and cool events that are pretty cheap, that you normally wouldn't hear about, ....if any of you win the moose non-celebrity bar tender of the week I expect to be invited.

The Guthrie they have lots of cool shows and readings also some great deals on last minute tickets and events. Good season ticket program too.

The Ordway with Chicago coming, Monty Python and other great shows you can't lose.

The Minnesota Opera House all right I know this is not for everybody but they sometimes have some great ticket discounts and it is something different to do, I am actually excited to see what they are going to do for the 2007-2008 season so stay tuned

Sports fan? Tired of high price of tickets? Check out the Minnesota Swarm $240 for season tickets and it is pretty entertaining in the wonderful Excel Energy Center..

And last but not least the City Pages Insider

Just a few things to get you started....I will be getting season tickets to most of these venues and love to swap events with people so if you got passes to the Wild, T-Wolves, Vikes, or Twins let me know and maybe we can swap a few events.

Minnesota Swarm games are super fun. I think we got our season tickets for $80 and our seats are pretty good.

What about the KOD pass?

Yeah, our Swarm season tickets were $80 bucks. And if you just wnat to go to one game, call the box office, they'll probably offer you buy one get one free or something. They give tickets away like candy.

Swarm games are awesome. It doesn't matter if you don't know lacrosse because the games are a blast.

For us non-Minnesotians, what is KOD?

Brianinmpls said...

KOD is shorthand for the King of Diamonds a rather high end gentlemens club...i know we are all sick

HAHAHA, do you have to buy a membership to get in? It seems like every strip club with the word "Diamonds" in the name needs a membership. There is a strip club in Daytong named "Diamonds" and you have to get a pass to get in. You can either buy a temporary two week pass or you can get a year long membership. HA! You boys and your boobs....
