Went to a BBQ in Maple Grove and proved definitively that I am the flippy cup master.
Saturday
Remembered why I quit playing flippy cup.
Read The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, by Junot Diaz. It was good all around, should it have won the Pulitzer? Probably not. The notes in the beginning were distracting from the text but I understood there point in the overall narrative. I would def. wait for paperback.
Watched The Good Night. It was just ok I usually like this type of humor and subject matter it is about dreaming and being able to control them but I was kind of detached from the movie perhaps cause I had a splitting headache and the wost hang over of my life.
Watched Some Twins. Too bad they went down
Drank Some Beers at Brits then off to Spin for a Birthday.
Sunday
Dug dirt, made a hill. The goal is to put in an above ground pool that I will lay around in all summer.

as the dream killer, do not underestimate the amount of time and work involved in maintaining that pool ;o)
Did your pool efforts include hostas? I saw a nice arrangement of striped and regular green hostas intermixed with some gorgeous rocks and thought of on my walk yesterday.
M: I will put pictures up next week it is kind of crazy to describe.
R: You bastard. I hope it will be ok at least for the summer I got a good filter and tons of chemicals so hopefully it will work.
S. It did include breaking up some hosta but then on a change of a whim I desided I didn't like the brink work and tore it all up. I will have to finish the finishing touchs next weekend..that is if it doesn't get flooded out too bad this week
