Perspectives in the Land of Cheese
Listening to
Andrew Zimmerman on MPR. He had an interesting perspective on what is normal. After taking some calls about all the “interesting”
things he has eaten and how different other cultures are he said, “In Africa
they wonder why we let perfectly good milk rot and then cut it into little
blocks and eat it.”
Maybe it is
because cheese is such a way of life here but I never thought of the
consumption of it from that perspective before and it was kind of interesting.

We are one of the few cultures that drinks/eats dairy - many populations in the world have intolerances to dairy - although lots of people ignore their intolerances... :)
