Question of the Day
You have been given a magical boat that will survive the apoloclpse.
The catch is this boat can only hold 6 pairs of creatures and two shoeboxes.
Everything on the earth will be destroyed when you emerge from this boat. Only what was in the boat will be left to restart the earth which has been reduced to rock, dirt and water.
There are no animals, no trees, crops or grass not even bugs survived.
Only the six pairs of creatues on the boat and the two shoe boxes and there contents are left.
What are the six creatues you place on the boat?
What did you put in the shoe boxes?
Assume the boat is made of food and you can eat and live off the boat for one year.
Assuming you could bring the world back to new life what would you do different?

Interesting post . . . I have to think about it for a while, but I know for sure I'd pile seeds in one shoe box and of the creatures I'd take 2 bees and butterflies and goats (I love feta cheese too much!) Oh, yeah, a couple of people too. The other box would have matches and misc TBD????
I know there are many more clever answers, but the truth is, I have learned that I can live without my material possessions (well, maybe I'd take some good old fashioned Snaps licorice and eye cream).

Oh, wow. This is a good one. I'll have to think about it. My first reaction to it though was, "Only 2 pairs of shoes? I'd sink for sure!"
But, I'll think of a serious answer too...
I'd definitely bring bees and some seeds. And a cow. This is a hard question!
Well, due to the fact that the Earths atmosphere would quickly become uninhabitable due to non existence of oxygen creating foilage, it's an easy answer.
I would fill one shoe box with drugs, the other with a pistol and bullets and a crank powered mp3 player and when the drugs are gone, so would I be.

Shoe box = blow, wine, vodka, knife, pistol, small campfire kit
six hot ladies, myself, a cow, chicken turkey and quail...have a feast, party then be done with it...

For the shoeboxes I would bring a knife, seeds for flowers to help the bees polinate or whatever they do, seeds for veggies, tree seeds, wood, clothes, and a book. Huh, I guess they'd have to be pretty big shoe boxes - like thigh high boot shoe boxes, lol.
