I wonder who the first person was in the course of human evolution to teach their dog to play dead.
I wonder how the crowd reacted?
Did they applaud?
Spear the guy to death?
I am assuming this cute little move was a sign that we had grown docile as a species.

That person would have probably been accused of being possessed by demons or other evil spirits.... would have been stoned, drowned or otherwise tortured.
Docile? Or full of hubris at our "command over" other species?
