One World Wide Currency - Kind Of

If you think about it the magnetic strip on the back of your credit card is a one world currency. The digital equivalent of the Euro. You can use your hand little cash card in virtually every corner of the globe. If I can remember right a single world currency is one of the signs of the antichrist. Granted this is a little difference then the currency underlying it, but still....I wonder if there is any religious boy-cott of Visa? It is everywhere you want to be.

There are, they are called the Amish ;o)

A world wide currency may happen one day, I just don't understand the ramifications of getting rid of multi currencies and removing the currency trading market.

We're a cash only family these days... and mostly happy about it.

If you follow the Omen movies (shamefully that's my version of the a coimfort flick.... Big Chill for most chicks my age)... the creation of the European Economic Community in 1957 (the predecessor to the European Union) was one of the signs of the antichrist...out of which eventually stems the Euro. So, yes Biz... when you use your visa card at the gas pump and key in your zip code... you are telling Old Beelzebub your location....
