Change

I had an interesting experience last night when I was shopping. As I was walking out of a store I bumped into someone I knew when I was in high school. She was a few years older then me and one of the wildest women I even known. I know that there were regular nights where she would participate in 4 somes or more somes while we were all stoned out of our gores. She then hoped into a Volvo station wagon with two well dressed children and a husband who looked looked like an accountant. (Sorry for anyone who is an accountant but you know the stiff look of your co-workers) And I thought things have changed...she looked...well old.

I went home and looked in the mirror I mean really looked and you know what...I look old too...

I have changed a lot

I am not optimistic about life anymore

I judge people and I am no position to

and then

I wondered if her husband knows what she was like? Does it matter?

When does the past matter?

If you've had foursomes in the past, you should definitely share this info with your significant other (especially if it was a 3 on 1).

I think the past would matter in this case if she had a STD. Otherwise, it should only matter who she is today.

And who knows...maybe he's into that sort of thing.

That means I'm old too....I am older than you (by a couple of years only).....the past is in the past....it doesn't matter much...lol

I was never quite as extravigant as your classmate, and I have a hot firefighter not a stuck up accountant...BUT, I am definitely sure a lot of people would be surprised to see how this little fireball turned out.. lol..We all have a past. I think it should just stay there where it belongs...unless it is going to directly effect your future eg, STDs, jailtime, etc..

I could care less what people do sexually so long as it's kept away from my children.

I don't think the past ever matters -we all grow up and become accountants or the wives of accountants eventually!

I think everyone in high school or even early twenties- or for even some of us in our thirties go through the phase of going out, partying and sleeping around. Hey- if your single, use protection and have a good time- I don't see anything wrong with it. Just cause your old classmate had two nicely dressed kids and an accountant looking husband- doesn't mean that she doesn't still get down and dirty- must be one LUCKY accountant type husband to have a wild woman :)Or maybe now she turned into a plain jane prude... Who knows. But yes- when you run into people you have not seen in a long time- it makes you think about how time really does fly by and all the shit in high school means nothing once you get to the real world. You are who you are and YES it makes YOU take a good look in the mirror-- it make you wonder who is judging you and why.

People never really change who they are. How is that for optimism!
