This is going to sound heartless and cold not to mention cruel and evil.
I am sorry but please do not feed the children.
If giving people food is the only good deed you are doing for the world please stop.
All you are doing is prolonging an existing problem by insuring that people will live long enough to breed more people. No problem is being fixed.
The people who are living are still not being educated, the governments are still corrupt, war lords are still in charge and people unable to affect change are still breeding more people.
Any animal that breeds more infants than its habitat can support faces starvation. We are no exception.
As much as you might think this is elitist and demonic, my true enemy is not the children, is not specific regions, it is charities who are taking peoples money and promising them feel good returns and not solving any problem of consequence. The world remains on a liner collision course. They say that one person saved could hold the cure for cancer.....he also has to be educated, etc. just surviving to live long enough to breed may actually deplete the resources needed by that one person to go to school to cure cancer.
It is easy to send someone a bag of rice. A lot harder to create doctors, education, industry, infrastructure, medicine, systems of checks and balances.
You are shooting an elephant with a b-b gun....please Don't Feed the Children.
If you insist on charity work look for something with a little bigger impact.

The Honest Bar Tender - Zero Hour
Of the ten people you should know the bar tender might be the most important. Also one of the easiest to cultivate since you can cheaply bribe your way into good graces with tipping better then average.
It is also the relationship that due to circumstances can become the most strained.
I am talking about the cut off point aka zero hour the tipping point between them doing their job of making your feel right and you not being able to walk out of the door.
I have been on both sides of the bar and I believe that the patrons have a responsibility to know their limits too.
I also believe an over ween off is the cowards way out.
If you are a bar tender and someone has too much to drink cut them off. I watched bar tender that I used to refer to as a living legend perform what can only be compared in the real world to a bait and switch. A patron was obviously over line (Wasn't me this time) and I watched the bartender actually pretend to put booze in a glass and fill it up with mixer. In effect giving them a virgin drink without their knowledge.
Now if you are going to pour someone a coke charge them for a coke.
I guess I digress with this rant I just feel like a kid who found out Santa Claus isn't real.

The Solution to Deception is to be Pessimistic
The following is a Brian Johnson said it first quote all rights reserved...lol
"The Solution to Deception is to be Pessimistic.
I am not really sure what optimism is the solution for?" -Brian Johnson 1977 -
At first I thought this was odd.... of the follow two types of people which one do you loath more?
The wolf in sheep's clothing? (Bad guy pretending to be good)
The sheep in wolf's clothing? (Good guy pretending to be tough)
They are both deceiving. They are both trying to be something they are not. But the wolf in sheep's clothing I.e. the bad guy pretending to the good guy is the one people get the most pissesd over because this is the one that slips through the radar detector of pessimism. The second one people actually like in the end after they get through the hard exterior they find this wonderful person on the inside.
I really want to call out a blog on here that I know to be total bullshit that somehow is somehow wildly popular. I guess you can never underestimate the power of denial.
But at the risk of becoming something I loathe even more (Cock blocker) I am going to just leave everyone with the following refreshers.
1.) If something seems to be too good to be true it probably is.
2.) Men can pretend to be sweet, vulnerable and wounded when it is too their advantage.
3.) If something doesn't add up check your math and then your data.

Weekend Recap
Friday
McCoys in St. Louis Park for a Birthday Party
Tailgate for Late Night Happy Hour.
Saturday
Read The Adventures of Johnny Bunko The Last Career Guide You'll Ever Need, by Daniel Pink. It is like who moved my cheese for a whole new generation. Great business read with updated perspetive. Done completely in manga style
Read Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea, By Chelsea Handler. I think she might be close to the perfect woman loves to drink, smart, smart ass, and beautiful. I got a good laugh out of 90% of the stories it is similar to early David Sederis. Good light hearted read.
Watched Semi-Pro I was little bit bit concerned since this got a lot of bad reviews but I love Will and thought this was classic:)

Why Guys Should Watch Chick Flicks
Besides building up good will with the women in your life it gives you a chance to study.
That girl that you want to date\marry\sleep with has a man in her head. That man is a compost picture of all of those movies you have refused to watch. The mannerism, the excitment, the look, the talk, the quirks, the jokes..its all there for you.
Watch ten of them. Compare yourself to him. What is one thing you can take from each of these movies and add to your game? Watch 10 of these and take one from each and your batting average will go up by .300!
Here is a brief list of some of my favorites to get you started.
- Brief Encounter
- Love Actually
- Bridget Jones Diary
- Somethings Gotta Give
- Sweet Home Alabama
- Breakfast at Tiffany's
- 50 First Dates
- Casablanca
- Notorious
- The English Patient

The Opposite of Danity Kane
Danity Cane is Stupid, Stupid, Stupid and I thought that I should let you know.
Why do we all seem to need everyone else to fix us?
What happened to our own self empowerment?
We expect others to fix all the problems around us, economy, politics, war, relationships, salary issues etc...
How come we have a whole generation who actually believes, dances, and recites this with little thought of the implications.
I wish I could take every lyric like this, every thought like this and replace them with a quote by Robert Schuller,
"If it is going to be, its up to me." - I have this on my fridge.
Here are the horrific lyrics millions of people are internalizing at this momement...
"thought that I should let you know
That my heart is
Damaged, damaged
So damaged
And you can blame the one before
So how you gonna fix it, fix it, fix it?
How you gonna fix it, fix it, fix it?
(Baby, I gotta know, what you are gonna do, baby?)
How you gonna fix it, fix it, fix it?
(Baby, I gotta know, what you are gonna do?)
How you gonna fix it, fix it, fix it?
(Baby, I gotta know, what you are gonna do?)
[Andrea:]
Do, Do you got a first aid kit handy?
Do, Do you know how to patch up a wound?
Tell me,
yada yada yada

Inside This Box
Inside this Little Box
This box is tease of sorts.
It brings me into pseudo contact.
Cardboard acquaintances once removed
The illusion of community
Virtual Stimulation of my synaptic curiosities
Fantasy
Desire
Loneliness
A world horizon of information,
Peers,
It is roll-playing
Dungeon's and Dragons style
This is who you created
You are an avatar
You are virtually two dimensional
All inside this little box
Everything out of reach
A one sided lap dance of conversations carved into a comment box of a life.
The funny thing is you know me better then that who shakes my hand.
You.

Medium Rare Snatch
It might seem completly vulguar to several of you to refer to woman on a similar basis a a steak but then you haven't been paying attention as I am completly vulgar.
Or at least creative in driving traffic with that title with minumal expense to my credibility.
Todays post is drinking on a date and doesn't relate to snatch but how well you let your brain get cooked on a date.
I tend to let mine get pretty well done.
I tend to shy away from people who are afraid to let themselves go.
But then I tend to end up in messes and impossible situations so I might not be the best expert on the subject.
How cooked do you let your brain get on the first date?

Weekend ReCap
Friday
Lunch @ Victors Yummy:)
Went to a BBQ in Maple Grove and proved definitively that I am the flippy cup master.
Saturday
Remembered why I quit playing flippy cup.
Read The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, by Junot Diaz. It was good all around, should it have won the Pulitzer? Probably not. The notes in the beginning were distracting from the text but I understood there point in the overall narrative. I would def. wait for paperback.
Watched The Good Night. It was just ok I usually like this type of humor and subject matter it is about dreaming and being able to control them but I was kind of detached from the movie perhaps cause I had a splitting headache and the wost hang over of my life.
Watched Some Twins. Too bad they went down
Drank Some Beers at Brits then off to Spin for a Birthday.
Sunday
Dug dirt, made a hill. The goal is to put in an above ground pool that I will lay around in all summer.
Went to another yummy BBQ
