Wouldn't it be nice if stores would credit your account for a return as fast as they take your money for a purchase?
Home Depot I am talking to you!! Where is my money bitches..

Some Garlic...Maybe Some Cloves
Sitting here looking at a wet spot on my carpet left .00023 seconds after the puppy just came inside has me wondering what kind of sausage I could make him into? Maybe something spicy? I think he is still small enough to fit into my grinder without too much extra prep?
I am joking of course but the thought did cross my mind..lol
We are three weeks into it though and he is really good. Starting to get used to his leash, sitting on command, starting to get the concept of come and running to the door when he has to go outside. He has only had two accidents in the last four days which is really good and so far he hasn't chewed anything beyond repair. He is still waking up once through-out the night to go to the bathroom around 4:00am but I can live with that. It is pretty cool though I think I like him more then I thought I would:)

Broadcasters Beware
I have started a list of mini-boycotts that I am now doing when ever a particular song or add comes on TV.
Right now there are only two...
#1) Anytime I hear a U2 song played on the radio I immediately change the channel and will not go back for the rest of the day.
#2) Anytime I see that commercial with Sarah McLachlan and the abused animals that plays the entire song Arms of the Angels I change the channel and do not go back to that channel for the rest of the day. This was tested for real on Tuesday when it came on during the lead up to the Twins Game, but since I knew Blackburn was pitching and they were going to lose I didn't lose too much sleep over it.

Birth Control for Men
I hate it when women bitch about having to take birth control like it is some huge sexist conspiracy.
It is just easier chemically for women's birth control then it is for men, sexism has nothing to do with it.
It is just easier to block or confuse one egg a month then it is to block or confuse 3-10 million sperm a day.

Chicken Updated
Instead of two cars barreling down the road towards a head on collision daring each other to turn first I say we update the game of playing chicken to the modern era.
This game begins with two people sitting across a table from each other then taking a diet pill that will cause anal leakage if the amount of fat consumed becomes in excess of that which can be absorbed into the body. In the middle of the table are several large pizzas which must be eaten piece for piece by the players.
The first one to get up from the table is chicken.

Splash Screen People
I can't help but feel like the majority of the people I meet latley are just Splash Screen people colorful introduction with no code behind them. Queries with no results. Placeholders for future development that will never take place.
Where have all the good people gone? I used to be surrounded by them all day everyday...I miss you guys...my brain misses you.

Not a whole lot did some chores, played with the Puppy.
Saturday

Put up a temporary door.
Helped a friend mount a flat screen TV
Through-out my back...bitched
Had a puppy play date and drank till I stopped bitching.
Watched the Derby on TV...sorry guys Cantabury wasn't in the cards this year.
Went to Tailgate.
Went to Ikes
Passed out.
Sunday
Sat outside all day and caught up on some reading and research papers.
Went to Cafe Ena for dinner....thought it was pretty good although their Sangria doesn't come close to our homemade stuff:)

Getting Old....
The first pitch of the game last night Brian is lead off, as I kick and start towards first I feel both my hamstrings pull...ouch...fuck.
I probably just took something bordering an overdose of Alieve just to get out of bed this morning.
But I tell you this for as much pain as I was in, for as cold as it was, for all of the wind that blew last night, for playing two people short, that was one of the funniest kickball games I have ever played:)
Big ups to the Runs on the first win of the season and to Alieve for letting old people play like children.
