Prediction #897665 - De-Evolution of Dance and Music

Music and Dance will further de-evolve to a series of grunts and thrusts.

While you would assume this return to our honest nature of perversion without any bull shit would be right up my alley, you would be wrong.

There is something about the dance about the lyrics about a person trying to define a feeling or emotion that I love. Thought is missing.

I enjoy the fact that Dancing with the Stars is bringing formal dancing back into mainstream I just wish club owners would be faster to convert over because it is obvious no one has told any of the customers at any of the clubs around here.

What I fear is that the person who grunts the most, who can only grind when they are dancing is the only one who will be reproducing in this generation. Thus moving his genes into the next generation faster then the formal dancer. Before you know it the thrusters and grunters have taken over and this club mutation sweeps through the population.

Ladies you are the gate keeps on this so please be diligent.

Dancing is a bitch, I am ok at it, I have in fact cleared some dance floors before,-- but really I hate it. It takes time away from the drinking, but you have to do it for the benefit of the women, cause they like it. Plus sometimes you just don't feel it with the music.... Its a real bitch so I try to avoid dance clubs alltogether, But damn straight if you are going to do it, do more then just the old hip sashay and grind -- Like anything else in life try to channel mother fucking John Travolta....

haha...I think women love men who can dance because they show a certain, um rhythm that is appealing. I'm glad ballroom is making a comeback. It's more fun that people think. The tango is one of the sexiest dances EVER.

Did you see the movie Idiocracy? Horrible movie but it's where were headed.

Around here, there aren't too many places to dance... and when you do find a dance floor... there is no formal dancing. Just who can dance the sluttiest... which makes it much more fun to watch and mock. grunt thrust thrust grunt

Brian, this post about grunting made me recall a sexual fantasy I frequently entertained in the mid 90's about Monica Seles. Thank you!

I love dancing... all kinds of it. I'd love to learn ballroom and bellydancing. I'm going to start looking for local classes in my area.

Commander and I took dance lessons for our wedding. It was THE biggest waste of money yet. While it's nice to have a few steps in your bank of dance moves - there's no real appropriate time to whip out the Tango in a club. Just doesn't work.
