What if it is money they are after. I mean tithe kind of sounds like a collection. If you are trying to intimidate to gain funds you are an extortionist.

All organized religions are about control, to control you need fear and money.
Extortion? Or just plain old insurance fraud... "You need to buy a policy that you'll never be able to file a claim for".... 6 in one, half dozen in the other...
