Gutters

"We are all of us in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." - Oscar Wilde

Some of us pretend we aren't - Like republicans and Catholics (That's a joke people)

Some us play non-stop in the filth and love it

Some of us ignore it and are indifferent to it

Some of try to explain the gutter and make it better then it is

I wonder why sometimes we hide from that which we desire. Deny the very passion of existence.

How to you go after your desires? Do you go after them?

I would but my desire is in Minneapolis and is way out of my league.

Ahhhh - yes, desire - the tattoo on my neck reminds me of that everyday!

I think that possibly sometimes we avoid that which we desire because we are afraid that once we attain it, there will be nothing left to long for.... ever notice that the chase can be more fun than the... however it is they say that?
How do I? Hmmmm I usually try to grab my desires by the horns...
but sometimes I'm pretty damned chickenshit - I'm working on that though!!!! This year has been a big leap for me in the going after my desires department - talk to me in May and see how I've made out!

Oscar Wilde quite is great- it makes me think of the post I made last night, er, this morning.

I think for a long time about my desires and sometimes I go after them and others I don't. I try not to look too far into the future but sometimes daydreaming will do that, thinking about what could be. But if I want something bad enough I will center my life around it and achieve it.
