LOL.
Wouldn't that solve all of our economic problems?
If only we knew where poor people get the good stuff.
That's very Jack Handy of you ;)
I think you can trade in three empty bottles of Maddog 20/20 for one Sharpie.
I guess that they borrower it and the cardboard from the liquor store or grocery store guy.
I think of Cardboard signs and Magic markers as well as large cups to hold the change as the capital for homeless people. These are the tools of their trade. Just Like I need a computer, a camera, a cell phone, tape measure, pen in order to do my job, They need that stuff to do their job. -- when you see a homeless person begging without the sign or the cup you know he is just starting out. The sign guys with the cups are who they aspire to. If there was a magazine documenting the lives of Homeless people I think the ones with the best signs would be the coverboys of that thing. -

I saw a guy the other day who had a sign that said: This is my sign, no one reads it anyways...
(I paraphrase but it was something to that effect)
people with ample money and home tend to be fairly wasteful and unappreciative of the things they have... you can find lots of great treasures in the trash my friend, and if I'm pretty sure homeless folks are damn good dumpster divers (also most people haven't grown up homeless, but actually have become homeless....so maybe they just still have some stuff left over from their "other lives"?)
Seriously, I've wondered the same as well. Ma probably nailed it though.
Brian...love how your mind works. But now that you mention it, I wonder too.
Great question....I have one for you...have you ever wondered why 24hour shops have locks on their doors?
That is a very good question, especially because I can never find a damn Sharpie in my house when I need one!
good question Emma!!!
