Running in Place
For the last three years I have been running in place more or less. No progress just barely mantaining my position while the speed keeps increasing. For a long time I was really tired and just wanted to stop, but today I woke up and looked down and it was maxed all the out, the speed was open as far as it could go and I am still running:) I am still here. I will still be here 10 years from now. There is nothing more that can be done to me. No more hands that can touch the speed except for mine. And all i have to do is keep this pace up and as the treadmill slows down I am going to begin to make progress and when finally stops you will see flames and dust in the wake I make filling in for lost time.

Maybe step off the treadmill for a short period of time, refocus and then step back on. Maybe a trip to a white sandy beach in Jamiaca.
My ass is tired just from reading this post.
I dig the analogy.
I use that same analogy -- always feeling like I am on a treadmill that is set at to fast a pace--- knowing you have to run no matter what and stepping off is not allowed. I am glad you are the master of your treadmill and are anticipating it slowing down soon for you. --- Mine is still getting faster but your success is good to see.... as it is hope that some day I may be able to see mine slow as well.
