Behind You?

Although I probably have a million little quirks one of my most irrational fears is that I get extremely nervous to drive behind people who have damaged rear bumpers. To the point I will turn, pull over and or go out of my way to avoid being behind them.

I am afraid that they are conspiring against me so that I will hit them and they will blame their pre-existing damage on me.

I reason that they must be bad drivers since they did something that caused someone to hit them and they might do it to me. (This is where I know I am crazy because logically I know that it was the person behind them who hit their cars fault but I still can't shake it)

What is one of your most irrational fears?

Paranoid much? I watch a lot, and I mean a lot of movies. Some are on the scary side. Well I am constantly looking behind me in the dark thinking that someone is going to come out of the shadows. That is my irrational fear, I know there is no one in the house but still I look behind me and pick up the pace on the way to my room.

Yeah, but it could have been because they are a "quick stopper" or don't pay attention much and frequently have to slam on thier brakes.

I think this is a good idea.

I get nervous when I'm stopped at a red light and see a vehicle coming up behind me and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. They *usually* stop in time (I got rear ended at a red light once but there was no damage), but it still makes me nervous.

That instead of being people of God, Jehovah's Witnesses are actually in league with the "Dark One".

I get nervous whenever I'm in a car, passenger or driver. Hence I have a 100 tablet bottle of Xanax that I keep with me at all times. =D

My other irrational fear is germs. I cannot avoid them but I fear them regardless. At home I will wash my hands constantly when cooking for fear of cross contamination (thank you 10 years of working in restaurants). In public I'm even worse- In a bathroom of 5 stalls if I go into one and there is a pubic hair, speck of urine on the seat, scrap of toilet paper on the seat or some foreign brown substance anywhere, I leave the bathroom entirely and will pee behind a building instead. Crazy eh?

I own stock in hand sanitizer. Or at least, I should.

I fear that one of these nights I'm going to pee my pants. I have to get up and pee so damn much that I am afraid one day I will be too big to get up and I will pee all over myself!

I have this 'fear' of people following to close while walking through the skyway's or even on the streets. When they are behind me.. I actually pull over and let them pass.

A note to all guys (and ladies) especially be careful how quickly you come up behind someone while walking anywhere.. it freaks people out (ok, maybe just me)

Mine is when I see middle aged men walking around the toy section of Walmart (or any other store for that matter) with absolutely no kids in tow or wife to boot. Not normal looking middle age men either, the creepy looking ones.

(This just stems from an incident about 2 weeks ago when Jayk and I were at Walmart and some creepy guy was walking around the kids section by himself and Logan was out of the cart. Then he kept showing up wherever we were, so I put Logan in the cart.) Stupid. I know. LOL

I officially deem (sp?) Cathy as your stalker....

I'm afraid of walking over the grates in the sidewalk. I dunno if you've ever been to San Francisco, but walking along the sidewalks they have these grates that go underground. I'll always walk around them no matter how inconvenient it is for the people around me. I always think that I'll break them if I put all my weight on them and down I'll go.

I have a fear of arrogant people. I feel that if someone convinces themselves that they are so great, then they will try to take over the world.

I like people who are humble.
