What do news paper boxes say about the behavior of humans?
Any one person can put in money and open it and give free papers to everybody else.
But we rarely see this happen. I put in some money and left the door propped open just to see what the next person would do.
Did they...
A.) Take a free paper and shut the door so no one else could get one.
B.) Take all the papers out and start passing them around the bus stop since they were so lucky today.
C.) Shut the door. Place their money in and get a paper the honest way.
The answer was = A
I am not really sure what this means about the fate of our species but I think I am going to work this into a thesis of some kind...
What would you do? And don't lie chances are I will have you on tape over the next six months..

If I think about it, I'd take a free paper and leave the door open for the necxt person. I don't know why, but that's what I'd do.
You'll have me on tape over the next 6 months? Does that have to do with:
A. Your comment about my bed on my blog
B. You are coming to Boston to visit me soon
C. None of the above?
:)
I would do A. Because I recognize a good opportunity when I see one (but know it won't kill anyone to take one) but also recognize the fact that having the entire box gone without money will hurt the people responsible for them.
I do like putting money in vending machines without buying anything though...give a hungry person a nice surprise. :)
I would take a paper and justify it by the newspaper not making a contraption that worked correctly thus ok'ing the action. I know that is B.S. but hey, survival of the fittest biatch.
Def. the staying in bed comment. I did not want to wake up today for anything I wish I could have slept for a year..lol
I'd take a free paper, and let the next guy get a free paper too
I see bums take all the newspapers and sell them for a nickel cheaper ;-(
I'd walk by and totally shut the door without taking one! This is mainly becuase I work for the paper and unpaided circulation may affect my raise next year!
I think I'd have to go with option A.. and no real reason why.. I'm kind of ditzy so I might just have forgotten to put money in.
if its the ST. Paul paper I would have dumped in the garbage, but not so with the Strib..lol.
I'm with Michelle- I would definitely just take a paper and leave it open.
I get the paper delivered, so I don't go to the machines. I don't know what I would do though. Too much to think about after only half a cup of coffee. =P

Being that the Seattle Times likes to call my house every single night at 8 pm and they are super annoying, I'd take all the papers. I don't know why. It's like there is some voice in my head that says, "there is nothing stopping you... do it!" and I just listen and follow orders. I am living outside the law.
i think i might just shut the box too, without taking one. i'm a goodie-two-shoes, you can't pretend to be surprised.
